You can apply to study at a university if you have the grades and the money right now. However, some students seek an alternative. This is where Capital College can help. Instead of going to university or going home, come to College! Our courses are Government-accredited, and respected internationally as part of the ‘gold standard ‘ Australian Skills Framework (AQF).

A one-year Certificate, Diploma or Advanced Diploma with us is around 20% the cost of a university degree. It’s common for students to complete two qualifications with us over two years, then articulate into a Bachelor’s degree. Top universities offer credit for the AQF modules you study with us. This not only provides a second way to enter Higher Education, it can turn a 3-year degree into a 2-year degree.

For students leaving Year 12 who are not yet 18 years of age but want to take this pathway, we can arrange this with your current school. You’ll need permission from your parent or guardian; accommodation with a registered Homestay family holding a current blue card; and the appropriate visa extension. We’d love to have you join us.
